Indulgence

After my last heady post, I think it is time for some serious low-brow indulgence into pure fluff. Otherwise known as....Depot Dad’s favorite fictional female characters he’d most like to...uh...meet.

Lets get this list started with the interstellar hottie Leeloo played by Milla Jovovich in the film, The Fifth Element.
multipass
She’s smart, funny, cute, good in a fight, and the script says she is the supreme being. And who am I to argue? The charm starts as soon as she starts talking that funny outer space language of hers and continues on after she learns her stuttering English. “Multipass!”

Next up is Manon from the french film Manon Du Source and played by actress Emmanuelle Beart.
Manon
Quiet, suspicious of strangers, and committed to the destruction of everyone responsible for the death of her father. Now that is hot!

Okay, ready for more? I am.

Next we have the quintessential femme fatale, Betty from the French film Betty Blue, played by actress Beatrice Dalle.
betty
This woman is dangerous, self destructive, oh, and suffers from many serious psychoses. Whew! Good thing I know the difference between fantasy and reality. She burns the leading guy’s house down within the first fifteen minutes of the film, but damn, that dress!

And on the other end of the insanity spectrum is Charlotte, the lead character in the film Lost in Translation, played by Scarlett Johansson.
scarlett
She is real, sympathetic, communicative, willing to reveal herself, and just darn sweet. Oh, and she’s hot.

Okay, I think we have time for one more before Depot Dad has to start running the cold shower.

Andy Sachs from the film The Devil Wears Prada, played by Anne Hathaway

Okay, I’ll be honest. I don’t even really remember what this film was about. I just remember laughing my butt off and drooling into my popcorn.

Well, that’s all for this time, dear readers. Next time I’ll share my favorite limericks.
